In seven short years, Calvary Life has experienced miraculous growth. The church started in 1998 by Pastor John and Carmela in an attic with only handful of people. It then moved to a hotel where services were held for the next seven months. Rapid growth once again created the need to move to a larger space. Calvary rented and renovated a warehouse in nearby Hamden, CT which housed the church for two years.

Due to our growing compassion ministries located in Bristol, CT Pastor John felt the leading of the Lord to relocate 18 miles away to a more central location in Cheshire, CT. The leadership understood that this move risked losing a portion of the congregation that would be unwilling to travel this distance. However, the leading of the Lord proved to be the key to Calvary's success and not one member was lost. Today, some congregants travel close to two hours to attend our weekly services.

Currently, Calvary is on the move again. With the purchase of 7.5 acres in Cheshire, we will soon break ground on a new sanctuary that seats 1200 people, and with additional space that accommodates our expanding ministries.
