WARNING! Do not, I repeat DO NOT try to go to sleep listening John’s “Power to get wealth” sermon! Before someone “assumes” something from the title they NEED to listen to it! My warning comes as it is far too inspirational to listen to while heading to the “snooze zone.”

I just finished reading "Rich Church, Poor Church and listening to the accompanying CDs. THANK YOU for allowing the Lord to use you in this way! This has been an answer to the cry of my heart.

I have had wrong conceptions about finances all of my life, and just in the past 6 months the Lord has begun dealing with me in great depth to deliver me from wrong teachings from my childhood. I've always believed in the Lord's blessings, His provision for more than just our needs, etc.; but I've had trouble applying that to my life and having a system to combine Scripture with good business tactics that are ethical and supernaturally inspired. This book has blown away the poverty mentality from my life. I have always believed that as Christians it is my duty to have a poverty mentality and live simply. After reading the book and finding the history about the Jewish people how they were trained by their rabbis to be leaders in the gates it is no wonder the "lie" that Christians should sit as couch potatoes and insulate ourselves from the world has affected our thinking. As a result the church no longer sits in the gates of the city as leaders.
